At the joint meetings there were 350 participants. The perfect organizer was our Board Member Vakis Kontoes - plastic surgeons from Athens. He employed the Greek Ministery of Health to open the congress. The opening ceremony itself was performance with traditional music played with old Greek instruments including old Greek poetry and reading the Hypokrates... in original language. During lunch breaks were offered delicious food like in best restaurants and social life with Faculty Dinner Cocktail, Folclore evening and splendid Gala Dinner. The whole social part of the congress was hardly ever seen.

The scientific contribution of our Academy-members was remarkable. The Chairman of our session on May 26, 2007, were:

On the same day of our conference, there were held joint Assembly o IAAPS-ESLAS-WAMA. We have got six new full members, five new asociated members and eight Golden-IAAPS-needle holders. At the same time the Balkan-Chapter of IAAPS has been constituted. Per aclamationem Mrs. Zlata Janjić has been appointed tp be the secretary of IAAPS-BLAKAN-CHAPTER.

Vakis Kontoes has engaged Ministery of Health to open the conference.

Chairing persons of the IAAPS session were Illouz and Biggs.

Plastic surgeon from Detroit (origin from India) Satish Vyas has touched everybody singing and performing a guitar a very famous Greek song in Greek folclore suit.
